Deliveroo Champions is Back With its 10th Edition to Celebrate Riders in Partnership With Jailbird

27 June 2022 - The Deliveroo Champions initiative is back with its 10th edition in partnership with the famous, cult fried chicken joint, Jailbird to recognize, celebrate, and thank delivery riders who play a key role in keeping the city moving and fed on a daily basis.

From Monday 27th to Wednesday 29th of June, customers who place an order from Jailbird’s Motor City outlet throughout the day, will not only enjoy their favourite meal from the brand, but will also reserve one for the rider who delivers their order. The homegrown, fried chicken concept restaurant, will be giving riders a complimentary Fried Chicken Meal with a cold beverage, for every order collected from the Motor City outlet.

This collaboration is part of Deliveroo’s ongoing Deliveroo Champions Initiative, which was launched in 2020 as a thank you to riders who kept the city moving and fed during the pandemic. Deliveroo Champions has received glowing reviews from restaurants, riders as well as customers and has since become a permanent part of the Deliveroo ecosystem. Other loved UAE brands that have taken part in previous rounds include Bowlful, Couqley French Bistro & Bar, and House of Pops.

The idea for the initiative is for all parties to come together and ensure that the Champions of Deliveroo that continuously dedicate themselves to delivering our food, receive multiple thank you gestures throughout their day.
