Deliveroo Gathers over 500 Riders to Celebrate UAE Mother’s Day

21 March 2022 -To mark UAE Mother's Day on the 21st of March, Deliveroo UAE gathered over 500 riders to participate in a unique celebration.

To help their heroes celebrate Mother’s Day, Deliveroo set up a photo booth at their Editions site on Hessa St., where riders were invited to come in, have their picture taken, and write a personalised card for their mothers.

Over 500 riders gathered at the Editions site, where each of them had the opportunity to capture a fun image of themself and create a personalized handwritten Mother's Day card. Deliveroo also arranged for the cards to be mailed to their home countries where their mothers reside.

With riders at the very heart of their business, Deliveroo took this opportunity to recognize that most of them live and work away from their families, and often miss the chance to celebrate important occasions.

Deliveroo rider, Hafiz Waseem, said, “This is a great initiative by Deliveroo. I loved that I could send my mother a card and photo of me that she can keep forever. I know that she is going to be very happy when she receives it and she will be proud that I work for a company like Deliveroo. ”

The cards have been dispatched from Dubai and will be delivered to mothers by Monday, 21st of March, Mother’s Day.
