Deliveroo UAE brings back ‘Thank You’ initiative to Celebrate Taqado Mexican Kitchen’s 9th Birthday in the UAE

26 September 2021 Taqado Mexican Kitchen is celebrating its 9th birthday in the UAE by partnering with Deliveroo to deliver a very special Thank You to frontline workers at SEHA who contributed to keeping residents safe and healthy during the past year.

Between the 26th and 28th of September, Deliveroo is dedicating a fleet of riders to pick up best-selling burritos from Taqado and deliver them to front-line workers. Those administering the vaccine at SEHA will enjoy a complimentary burrito meal for 3 days in honour of Taqado’s 9th Birthday! The initiative has been brought about as a heartfelt gesture of thanks to the medical staff that has kept the city moving and in honour of Taqado’s journey so far in the UAE.

For three consecutive days, Taqado will be preparing fresh, stuffed-to-the brim burritos, filled with pulled barbacoa, rice, beans, salsa, & Monterey Jack cheese or sour creme wrapped tight in a soft flour tortilla.

Dubai is one of the few places in the world where ‘normalcy’ during and post COVID-19 returned quickly and a huge reason for this were the efforts of the frontline workers that have been administering vaccines throughout 2021. This is the second round of the Thank You initiative which was kicked off by Deliveroo earlier this year in partnership with SEHA in Dubai.
