A slice of pizza for the slice of the moon is what the award-winning delivery service and Moon Slice Pizza have in store for you.
1 May 2022 -Speculations are on the rise as both children and adults debate which day will mark the end of Ramadan and thereafter, indicate the beginning of Eid. As families debate whether the holy month will comprise 29 or 30 days, the mystery and surrounding theories on the forecasts is a fun annual tradition we have all grown to love. This year, to give your eyes some rest, Deliveroo has partnered with Moon Slice Pizza to help customers get a perfect view of the crescent and settle the debate on which date Eid Al Fitr will fall on.
The clue is in the name, Deliveroo’s cheesy deal with the widely loved-homegrown pizza brand is making moon sighting more exciting with its very own pair of ultra-cool day and night vision binoculars.
Available exclusively on the Deliveroo app, customers can get their hands on the limited-edition binoculars by ordering the Lahmahjoon or Diavola Pizza from Moon Slice. Starting from AED 75, the limited-edition bundle will be launched exclusively on the platform from Thursday 28th April, and be available until the 1st of May.
A perfect addition to the days leading up to Eid, the Lahmahjoon Pizza will have a generous spread of minced beef with a kick of spicy dressing centred with an onion salad, while the Diavola Pizza will come with luscious wagyu carpaccio, spicy meatballs all topped with olive aioli.
A slice of pizza for the slice of the moon is what the award-winning delivery service and Moon Slice Pizza have in store for you… so while the date isn’t guaranteed, delicious pizza surely is.
